What is Varshayan?
A model organic farm being developed on a strech of virgin yet productive 35 acres of isolated piece of land ideal for the purpose of organic farming.the farm is away from the main road to cut the smoke and noise pollution level,separated from the adjacent farm land by a depression of about 40 feet to prevent the contamination from chemical fertiliser polluted water of neighbouring farms.the location offers optimum scope for rain water harvesting by excavating farm ponds and bunds in the farm and construting check dams in storm water dainage [rivulet] on the border of farm.
The activities at farm are planned so as to make the farm selfsufficient to achive the best quality of produce.

Organic Fertilisers :
SAHI SATVA MEANING CORRECT NUTRIENT,is the specially prepared vermicompost at varshayan.
Fertilisers are the backbone of good farming and of vital importance in case of organic farming.At Varshayan bio fertiliser like vermicompost is produced from cow dung that too of only pure indian breed of gir / kankrej cows.This makes all the difference as the gir cows urine and cow dung is more potential and has insecticidal properties.

Plantaction :
Awala & Lemon plantation is done at the farm and papaya as intercrop.At the boundry NEEM trees are planted to create sterile atmosphere in the farm.
Cash Crop :
wheat, bajari,sesame and other are grown from the treated seeds to get the best quality crops.
Vegetables :
Seasonal vegetables are grown like carrots,Brinjals,Ladies finger,Raddish,Methi, Corriander.These farm fresh ,organically grown products are way better compared to routienly grown vegetables.
